Dutch Navy vessel Zr.Ms. Holland patrols the Caribbean sea conducting counter-drugs operations. The goal of this operation is to stop the large influx of narcotics to the US and provide security in Caribbean waters. On the 21st of June 2021 a Maritime patrol aircraft spotted a fishing vessel towing a so-called go-fast. These small boats are able to move at high speed and are a favorite for traffickers. Zr.Ms. Holland used its fast interception boats and NH90 Helicopter to intercept the vessel. During this interception they secured 325kg of cocaine and arrested 18 personnel on board. All drugs and personnel where handed over to the US Coast guard.
