With the Russian invasion of Ukraine there came a rapid increase of NATO forces on the eastern flanks of Europe.  Combined with the increase of troops came exercise RAPID FALCON conducted with Dutch airborn infantry,  United states army helicopters  in coordination with the Romanian Land Forces at Mihail Kogălniceanu Airbase, near Constanța, and Capu Midia Training Area on the Black Sea Coast.
